It was my first time sailing a yacht.
I had always wanted to get a boat license, and when I happened to see the words "yacht sailing" in a pamphlet, I saw it!
It was a fine day in Okinawa, and I thought I might be able to hear a lot about boats, so I decided to go! So I headed to Itoman without making any reservations.
When I asked the management office if it was okay if I could go sailing today, they called back Kosha-san, who was sailing leisurely offshore.
I was lucky that there were no reservations and the place was free.
Thank you very much!
Thanks to him, I was able to have a valuable experience.
I learned a lot about the difference between a boat and a yacht, how to read the wind, the types of sails, how to read the instruments, how to steer, and so on.
Anyway, I was able to spend a luxurious time with the sea and the yacht all to myself.
You can only experience relaxing while listening to the sound of the waves here.
There are many marine activities in Okinawa, but it would be a shame to not know about yacht sailing.
I'm already planning to try it at a different time next time.
Once you try it, you'll want to do it again!
Combined with Mr. Koja's personality, you're sure to become a fan of yachts.
If you haven't tried yacht sailing yet, I highly recommend it!

Today, I enjoyed the beautiful, clear waters of Okinawa.
It was a quick dive, but Captain Koja was happy to accommodate me, and I was able to experience sailing in pleasant weather.
He taught me the basics of sailing, and even though I had no prior knowledge or experience, I had a lot of fun.
I also got to hear Captain Koja's story of how he started sailing and how he made it his job, which was very interesting and inspiring.
I would definitely like to participate in the next sailing experience plan. Thank you!

I was searching for something interesting to do on our trip to Okinawa as a family of three, and I came across the yacht sailing experience. After watching the explanation and videos on the website, I thought it looked like a lot of fun, so I made a reservation right away.
On the day, the captain, Mr. Koja, greeted us with a lovely smile and said, "Ask me anything about Okinawa and yachts," and was very friendly♪
After boarding the boat, he gave us a detailed explanation of how the yacht works and how to operate it. We took turns sailing as a family, and it was a rare and valuable experience.
We enjoyed the beautiful Okinawan sea with no engine noise, riding the wind.
Thank you for giving us such good memories.

I enjoyed sailing in the Okinawan sea for the first time in a while. It was pouring rain in Naha city, but when I arrived in Itoman, it stopped raining - I felt a strange connection again.
Next time, I would like to experience even more uphill heels. Thank you (^^)

I used this service for a trip to Okinawa with my family of three.
Since we were traveling to Okinawa, we wanted to enjoy marine activities, but since it was October, we didn't want anyone other than myself to get wet (crying), so we were looking for an activity that wouldn't get us wet, and that's when we discovered Kosha's yacht experience!
I had never seen such a service before, so I immediately clicked on it.
The experience was appealing, but the fact that we could rent a yacht for two hours for this price was just too good to be true!
On the day, I was worried that it would be difficult to find the marina where we were to meet, but thanks to the guide video, we were able to get there without getting lost.
It was the first time for all of us to board a yacht, so we were worried about getting seasick, but thanks to the recommended medicine, we didn't get seasick at all, which was great.
I was impressed by the efficient departure, and we soon began sailing. Thanks to Mr. Koja's hospitality, we were able to have an extraordinary experience. He carefully explained to us beginners the benefits of yachting and how to enjoy it, and let everyone steer the boat (which was surprisingly nice for a long time).
To be honest, if you don't get along with the captain, the experience may not be fun, but he was kind and proactive in talking to you, so even if you don't have good communication skills, you can board the boat with peace of mind.
There was no engine noise, and all you could hear was the wind and waves. The vast blue sea of Okinawa cleansed my soul!
Thank you for giving us a better experience than we expected.
We would definitely like to use your service again, so we look forward to seeing you there.

We enjoyed chatting on the calm sea and steering the yacht. This time, I went on board with my grandparents and they were very happy!
It was nice to be able to ride a yacht at the end of the trip✨
Even if you don't have a car, there is a bus stop about a 5-minute walk away, so you don't have to worry.
And the captain, Mr. KoJa, is a very nice person!
He was very kind to us🙇♀️

My first ⛵️ yacht sailing experience♪
It was amazing💕
The comfort of turning off the engine and moving forward with just the power of the wind. I was very satisfied with the two hours of chartered cruising, sailing and relaxing in the blue sea❣️
It's a rare experience to be able to go into the ocean 60m deep. I was able to enjoy the deeper blue with a float💙
I want to go on this again!!

This time I went sailing on a yacht for the first time on the Tetis 🛥️
I've been on jets and boats before, but it felt really good to be on a boat moving on the sea at the mercy of the wind 🌊🤍
The captain, Koja-san, was very kind and moved the parasol to match the sunlight, so it was always comfortable 🥹
He listened to my selfish request to go into the sea at a depth of 30m, and I was tied to a float and had fun floating 🌺🤍

Despite the typhoon forecast, it was sunny from the morning on the day of the trip. The yacht owner was very kind and worried about the typhoon from the day before. Thanks to him, we were able to ride the yacht with peace of mind. It was a very good memory. Mr. and Mrs. Kikuta (living in Aichi Prefecture)
We loved Okinawa, and it was our first sailing experience as a three-generation family, from teenagers to those in their seventies.
The waves were sometimes thrilling and sometimes calm, and the sea and sky were beautiful. We truly felt the wonder of nature.
It is very rare to be able to experience sailing on a yacht, even in Japan, so many people may not have heard of it as an activity in Okinawa, but we would like many people to experience it. ^ ^
The captain was very warm and polite, and he kept us updated in advance about the wave conditions and weather.
(We also took Aneron, which the captain recommended, and did not get seasick throughout the trip.)
Next time, we would like to ask for a sunset cruise. ♪

Thank you for your hospitality and for the fun experience. It was my daughter's first time on a yacht, and the sea conditions were quite difficult. It was a very fun trip to Miyakojima, Okinawa.
We had originally planned a trip to Hawaii, but we changed our plans because it would be difficult to prepare during this busy schedule and we didn't know how much the total cost would be.
In the end, we found that Okinawa was enough, not Hawaii. We would like to plan another trip.

The good thing about yachting is that you can enjoy nature to the fullest. When you're on a yacht moving quietly with only the sound of the wind and waves, your mind will also become calm.
You can experience the beautiful sea of Okinawa to the fullest, and I think it's a recommended activity for both experienced yachtsmen and first-timers. The captain's occasional jokes are also a must-experience.
I'll be using your services again when I miss the exquisite sea that's not available in my home port of Tokyo Bay. Thank you.

I really wanted to go sailing in Okinawa's beautiful waters, so I quickly searched for a sailing experience and found one near the airport that was perfect for my schedule! In the end, I decided on this one after looking at reviews.
Although I was a beginner sailor, I was able to experience steering the rudder thanks to the pleasant feeling of catching the wind and the captain's careful guidance.
On the way there, we navigated using the Kerama Islands as landmarks, and on the way back, we used a building near Fisherina as a landmark. The feeling of steering while communicating with the wind and sea is highly recommended for anyone who loves boats.
The color of the sea was also beautiful, and by going a little further out to sea, you could enjoy elegant sailing with no other boats around. It was the perfect way to end my trip to Okinawa near the airport.
Thank you very much to the kind captain for your help. I would like to return and try this again next time I visit Okinawa.

We were a little late, but the owner was waiting for us at the marina without rushing us, so we were able to experience it with peace of mind!
It was our first time on a yacht, but he taught us all about it and the time flew by. We also got to see the islands and planes taking off from the airport, and my companion even got to try sailing the boat, which was great service.

It was our whole family's first yacht cruise!
The moment the sails billowed in the ocean breeze was truly breathtaking. ☆
It was like a natural attraction.
While dodging Okinawa's unique squalls along the way, we were greeted by a double rainbow that filled the sky. ☆☆☆
It was the most auspicious surprise from nature. ☆
So this is what it means to "have the ocean all to yourself." ☆

Thank you for your service on my recent trip to Okinawa. I booked the tour after seeing it in a guidebook at the hotel the night before.
They called me the morning of the trip to say they wanted to start earlier because the winds would pick up in the afternoon, so we arranged to meet at the destination at 12:30. When I arrived, they were already preparing to depart, waving me over, so I knew right away.
The cruise was comfortable within the bay and reef, but once we got out to sea, the wind speed was 11 knots and waves were 2 m/s, making it quite a thrilling experience.
The route south from Itoman to Cape Kyan seems to get suddenly rough due to changes in the underwater topography and the waves bouncing off the cape's topography.
If you like ups and downs, this tour will be a fun experience.
The owner was very kind, so I felt at ease on board.

It's actually very easy to operate a yacht. Anyone with some knowledge and physical strength can do it right away. On the other hand, since you have to manually compete against the ever-changing nature, if you want to master it, you can enjoy it endlessly. So I think it's a very good idea to choose a yacht as a hobby that you can spend a lot of time on.
However, if you own one, there are many issues such as expenses, mooring space, boat licenses, and typhoon countermeasures, and it is quite a high hurdle. So I recommend using my service repeatedly. It's easy and reasonable. This is quite realistic and I think it's enough to get started.
Especially if you are looking for a hobby or a rewarding job after retirement (or nearing retirement), please take this opportunity to take a step into the world of yachting. I guarantee that your life will be enriched. Yes, I will support you with all my might.
Once you have been on the boat a few times and become accustomed to operating it, inviting your children and grandchildren to go sailing together will become a dream, no, a reality.

While I was thinking about what to name my yacht and doing some research online, I came across Thetis, the goddess of the sea who appears in ancient Greek mythology.
Thetis had the power to freely control the ocean waves and winds, and her graceful and beautiful form shone as one with the sea. She was also often worshiped as a protector who helped sailors on their voyages and protected them from storms.
So I thought. If I named my boat Thetis in honor of the goddess Thetis, I and my yacht would receive her protection and blessings, and my voyage would be safe and my business would proceed smoothly.
